WHAT TO WEAR TO YOUR CLASS

Dress Codes By Class

To make your shopping experience easier we have partnered with Nimbly dancewear. Although there is no required  brand or style for leotards, tights and shoes. We have placed required shoes styles, and some acceptable dancewear on a dress code list (by class) on the Nimbly website.  Visit  www.shopnimbly.com/cqsava and click on your class to shop. Your order will be shipped directly to you!

Discover Dance Purple or Teal

Lavender leotard, with or without skirt, pink tights, pink leather ballet shoes. Hair should be off of the face and neck.

​

Discover Tumbling

Lavender leotard and pink footless tights. Students will be barefoot. Hair should be off of the face and neck.  Ponytails should be kept low to enable students to do forward rolls.

​

Explore Dance Purple or Teal Ballet/Tap Combo Classes

Light blue leotard, pink tights, pink leather ballet shoes, black patent leather student tie taps. A pink or light blue skirt is optional. Hair should be off the face and neck.

Explore Dance Purple or Teal Hip Hop/Tumble Combo Classes

Black leggings with a light  blue leotard or light blue tucked in t shirt or tank. Black sneakers that are clean and only used in the studio for hip hop. Bare feet for tumbling. Hair should be up and off of the face and neck and tightly secured.

 

Develop Ballet

Teal Leotard, pink tights, pink leather or canvas ballet shoes. Hair should be in a ballet bun, secured with bobbie pins.

 

Develop  Jazz/Pom/Musical Theater Classes

 Teal leotard  with skin toned tights or black leggings  OR teal tank top and black leggings. Skin toned slip on gore jazz shoes. Hair should be off of the face and neck and tightly secured.

 

Develop Lyrical/Contemporary Classes

Teal  leotard and skin toned convertible tights or black leggings. Half sole "Pirouette" shoes or Apollo Shock Socks (with grips) Hair should be off of the face and neck and tightly secured.

 

Develop Tap

Teal leotard  with skin toned tights or black leggings  OR teal tank top and black leggings. Black lace up tap shoes. Hair should be off of the face and neck and tightly secured.

 

Develop Hip Hop

Teal leotard  with skin toned tights or black leggings  OR teal tank top and black leggings with Black sneakers. Sneakers should be DEDICATED only for dance classes, and not worn outside. Hair should be off of the face and neck and tightly secured.

 

Develop Acro

Teal leotard with footless tights or leggings and bare feet. Hair should be secured off the face and neck.. Pony tails should be kept low to enable students to do forward rolls.

Elevate Level Classes

All dress codes are the same as same as develop level classes, only with leotards/tank tops in the color MULBERRY

Excel Level Classes

All dress codes are the same as develop level classes only with leotards/tank tops in the color BLACK

 

CQSA does NOT allow midriff baring dance clothing for any student, at any time.

Our camps are available in one-week intervals, and this season, evening classes can be accessed with a convenient punch card system. Sign up today and give your child an unforgettable summer experience!

Enjoy the flexibility of our summer punch cards, valid for any classes tailored to your child's level. There's no need for prior registration—just show up, have your card punched, and dive into the fun! Feel free to mix it up each week with different classes, or stick to your favorites all summer long. You can even share cards within your family, except for the unlimited cards.
