Ages 3-5
All of the classes in our Discover dance program utilize the "Once Upon a Ballet" curriculum.
Once Upon A Ballet is a unique, child-centered approach to teaching dance that is based strongly in child development research.

Discover Dance Purple
Ages 3-4
and
Discover Dance Teal
Ages 4-5
What better way to begin dance than with a special program that combines classical training with creative movement, storytelling and LOTS of magic and make-believe! Students will learn the 7 movements of dance and the 5 positions of ballet with an emphasis on ballet vocabulary!
Classes are 45 mins long, once a week.
Students will wear a lavender leotard (with or without a skirt) and pink tights, with pink leather ballet shoes. Hair should be off their faces and necks.
Discover Tumbling
Ages 3-5
Students will learn basic floor tumbling skills, with an emphasis on proper placement for injury prevention.
Classes are 30 minutes long, once a week.
Students will wear a lavender leotard and pink footless tights, OR a lavender pair of leggings and t shirt. Students will be barefoot. Hair should be off their faces and necks.
Discover Dance and Tumble
Ages 3-5
A little bit of both! Students will be introduced to both dance and basic floor tumbling skills in this hybrid class.
Classes are 45 minutes long, once a week.
Students will wear a lavender leotard (with or without a skirt) and pink footless tights, with pink leather ballet shoes. Hair should be off their faces and necks.
Our daughter has been a part of Copeland Queen since she was 3 years old, she is now 8. Every single teacher and dancer know her by name, first and last! ;) I absolutely love how dedicated everyone is to making sure every child has a meaningful and fun experience! There is no pressure or stress!
