Windy Queen
Owner/Executive Director
A graduate of the Governor’s School for the Performing Arts in Virginia Beach, VA, Windy Queen holds Junior, Senior and Post Graduate Certifications from Dance Masters of America’s teacher training program at Kent State University, an Advanced Certification through Dance Educators of America and has received specialized focus training in children’s dance education and kinesiology from The Little People’s Creative Workshop.
A dance educator for over 36 years, Windy has taught beginner though pre-professional level students both In the US and in Europe, launching 3 successful studios and teaching for dozens more over the past 3 decades.
Passionate about excellence in children’s dance education, Windy has written ​ pre-school and early elementary dance curricula used by multiple studios throughout the U.S, and has lectured on children's dance programs across the country.
​Windy is a member of Dance Masters of America , Dance Educators of America, The National Dance Educator's Organization, The International Dance Entrepreneurs Association, and the American Dance Studio Owner's Association.

Retired from teaching, Windy now enjoys passing on her knowledge to the next generation of teachers while continuing to create original programming, and performances for CQSA.

Allie Queen
Operations Manager
As the child of a studio owner, Allie Queen has been dancing since she could walk. Having trained with a multitude of instructors growing up, she began teaching at Heartbeats Music and Dance in Springfield, VA as a teenager, and since then has taught at Nice School of dance as well as Melina's Dancing Garden.
After 9 years as an emergency room medical technician at Sentara Virginia Beach Hospital, Allie came on full-time at CQSA in 2022 , stepping into her role as the Operations Manager as her mother eases into retirement.
She holds junior, senior and post graduate certifications, and is certified to teach though Dance Masters of America's teacher training program at Kent State University and is an Acrobatic Arts certified instructor.
She is a member of the International Dance Entrepreneur's Association, The National Dance Educator's Association and is CQSA's chapter of the National Honor Society of Dance Arts adviser.
